The Council works to improve the quality of life in our community by:

  • Engaging neighborhood representatives in a meaningful way to identify and help to address the most critical neighborhood issues.
  • Working with public agencies and elected officials to make well informed decisions that are in the best interests of neighborhoods and the community.
  • Setting realistic priorities for decision-makers.

Our Purpose

The Council’s primary purpose is to promote healthy and welcoming neighborhoods for all Olympians by providing a forum for Recognized Neighborhoods, individuals and community organizations to discuss and help address important topics.

The Council also helps associations to connect with and learn from each other how to organize and advocate more effectively.
