Capital Mall Hearing

The Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at or after 6:30 pm, Monday, April 1.

As you have heard before at CNA meetings, the plan is intended to remake the Capital Mall area into “a high-density, walkable, mixed-use urban neighborhood with a mix of jobs, housing and services anchored by high frequency, direct transit service”.

This is literally your opportunity to help shape a new neighborhood in Olympia.

This hearing can be attended virtually or in-person and you can sign up to make comments.

In-person at City Hall, 601 4th Ave East, Olympia, WA  in Room 207

By Zoom, register using this link.  Note, the Planning Commission and staff will attend remotely

You can also make comments in writing. Written comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on April 1, 2024 and sent or emailed to:

Community Planning and Development Department, PO Box 1967, Olympia, WA 98507-1967 or emailed to dginther@ci.olympia.wa.us.
